Google Chrome Installer Removed From Microsoft Store for Violating Policies

Google Chrome is the world's most popular spider web browser on most platforms, and that has been the case for years now. However, the Redmond giant has merely pulled the plug on the software, saying that information technology is not in compliance with the company'due south policies. According to a statement released by a Microsoft spokeperson,

"Nosotros have removed the Google Chrome Installer App from Microsoft Shop, equally it violates our Microsoft Store policies"

Just to be clear, the app in question wasn't the browser itself, but an installer that was was supposed to automate the Chrome installation process for users, peradventure making it a little bit easier for the not-and so-tech-savvy. Google Chrome itself is not available on the Microsoft Store, which means people wanting to install the browser on their PC demand to manually head over to the Google website to access the executable file.
